Administrators, who have access to all 7 centers, use the Media Safe filter to find amazing Moments to use for their website and promotional material for the organization. The head of staff development also makes as monthly Staff Digest using Storyboards, which highlights teacher achievement and offers ideas for activities appropriate for each grade levels.
With the help of their lead teachers, each center’s Directors are responsible for planning and assigning Portfolios to classrooms at various times during the year. They also use Voice Broadcast and Messages to communicate important center information and updates to families.
Daily and Weekly: All classroom teachers use Daily Note to keep track of attendance, and the Preschool teachers also use it to log nap times, meals, and other daily activities. Teachers are encouraged to capture as many Moments as possible every day. The After School program uses Weekly Digest to send their Moments home, and other classrooms send either throughout the day, or at the end of the day.
Monthly: Lead teachers fill out Portfolios for each student at least 4 times a year, as assigned by their Directors. They also work with their team to create a monthly parent newsletter using Storyboards. This newsletter includes what the students worked on in the past month, organized by learning domain, a project highlight, and important upcoming dates families should know.
