Kaymbu@Home is a way for you to share photos and videos with your child’s teachers! While your child is home, this feature allows you to share the learning they are engaging in on a daily basis.
How it Works
Once you open the my.kaymbu.com/home link, you’ll be prompted to put in your email or phone number that’s tied to your child’s profile in Kaymbu. (If you downloaded the Kaymbu for Parents app, it’s the exact same workflow!) After you log in the first time, you’ll be able to upload as many videos and photos as you’d like. Everything that you upload is then sent to your student’s teachers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can anyone else upload photos for my child?
No! Only the family members associated with your child’s profile in Kaymbu can upload photos and videos.
What happens to the photos and videos I upload?
All the documentation you add is sent to the teachers of your child. If you have multiple students enrolled in a Kaymbu program, you will be able to upload photos and videos for both children, either together or separately.
Can other families see the documentation I add?
All the documentation you add is securely transferred to your child's Kaymbu profile. It is only accessible by the classroom teachers and program administrators. Teachers may choose to re-share your documentation to the class for learning purposes.
Is there a way to make Kaymbu@Home easier to access?
Yes! You can add the Kaymbu@Home webpage as a bookmark to your phone’s home screen and will allow you to easily pull up the web portal! Click here for full directions.
Getting Set Up
1. Go to my.kaymbu.com/home.
2. When you first open my.kaymbu.com/home, you will be prompted to enter an email or phone number (just like when you downloaded the Kaymbu for Parents app!). Enter the email address or phone number you use to receive Kaymbu messages from your school. Once you’ve entered the email address or phone number, select Next.
3. On the next screen, you’ll be prompted to enter a 4-digit security code. This will have been sent to you as an email or text message depending on what contact information you entered on the previous screen. If you do not receive a code, click Resend Code.
4. After entering your security code, you’ll be pulled into the Upload Page, and you’re ready to begin uploading media!
Uploading Media into Kaymbu
In the upload page, you can add as many photos and videos as you’d like by clicking Select Photos. You can add them from your device (such as your phone’s camera roll), Google Drive and Photos, Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, or Dropbox.
Kaymbu accepts .jpeg, .png and HEIC photo formats and MP4 and MOV video formats.
Once you have the photo(s) uploaded, select which student(s) the photo is on! If you have multiple students in a Kaymbu account, then you’ll be able to select which students are captured in the photo or video.
Next, you can add a caption explaining how the activity went, how your student engaged, or anything else you’d like the teacher to know!
Once you’ve added all the information you’d like, click Submit.
After your photos are successfully uploaded into your student’s classroom, you’ll receive a confirmation message. Your student’s teacher will be able to see and edit the caption.
If you have another photo or photos - perhaps from a separate activity your child did that day - you can click Submit Another and upload them.
