What is the Live Care Activities Setting for Families?
The Live Care Activities feature is designed to strengthen the connection between schools and their families. When enabled by the school, families will receive real-time updates through the Kaymbu for Families app whenever a care activity is logged and added to their child’s Daily Sheet. Families will be able to customize their Live Care Activities setting directly from the family app. Once their settings are in place, they will be able to stay informed and connected to their child throughout the day!

Accessing the Live Care Activities Setting on the Kaymbu for Families App
Families can access their Live Care Activities setting on the Kaymbu for Families app by navigating to their Settings tab and tapping on “Care Activities Notifications” below their child’s profile.
Please note that this setting will only appear for families if the school/program has enabled Live Care Activities. To learn more about the Live Care Activities Setting for Staff, click here.
Families can choose to enable notifications for all activities or select specific activities depending on their preference.
Live Care Activity Notifications on the Kaymbu for Families App
Once the Live Care Activities setting has been enabled and the family member has customized the setting on their end, they will begin receiving real-time updates whenever a Daily Sheet care activity is logged for their child. These updates will come in the form of push notifications and an update to their Home Feed on the family app.
Live Care Activity Filter on the Kaymbu for Families App
In addition to receiving instant notifications and updates on their child’s care activities, families can choose to filter Care Activity content directly from their Home Feed on the Kaymbu for Families app. By filtering to a specific care activity, results will automatically populate on the Home Feed, allowing families to easily view information on particular content.
To access the filter settings in the Kaymbu for Families app, navigate to the Home Feed and tap the funnel icon in the top-right corner.
