The ASQ Dashboard provides a centralized view for tracking screening group completion and progress. From the dashboard, users can easily monitor the progress statuses for questionnaires and review scores for all assigned children.
Table of Contents
Screening Group and Students
When viewing the ASQ Dashboard, the screening group name, selected respondent(s), and assigned children are displayed on the left-hand side.
Please note that respondent selection is managed through a screening group’s Questionnaire Settings.
If multiple screening groups are created within a classroom, users can switch between groups by clicking on the drop-down arrow next to the group name at the top of the page.
Developmental Categories
The five developmental categories, Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social, are displayed in columns on the ASQ Dashboard, with their legend appearing at the bottom of the dashboard for reference.
These key domains provide a well-rounded view of a child’s growth and help to identify strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.
- Communication (CM): Language skills, understanding, and expression
- Gross Motor (GM): Large movements like walking, jumping, and balancing
- Fine Motor (FM): Small movements like grasping, drawing, and hand use
- Problem Solving (PS): Thinking, memory, and reasoning
- Personal-Social (P-S): Social interaction, independence, self-awareness
Scores
As the questionnaire is completed for each child, the responses are scored and compared to developmental benchmarks. These scores will be displayed below each developmental domain on the ASQ Dashboard.
A scoring guide is shown in the top-right corner of the dashboard, displaying four icons representing Above, Close, Below, and Not Scored.
- Above the cutoff – Development is on track
- Close to the cutoff – Monitoring may be recommended
- Below the cutoff – Further evaluation may be needed
- Not Scored – “I Don’t Know” has been submitted as a response more than three times
Please note that, by default, the scores displayed on the ASQ Dashboard are derived from the Teacher Questionnaire. However, if there are no responses from the teacher or the family is selected as the only respondent (via the Questionnaire Settings), the scores displayed on the ASQ Dashboard will be derived from the Family Questionnaire.
Progress
A Progress column, located on the right-hand side of the ASQ Dashboard, tracks the completion status of the Teacher Questionnaire and/or Family Questionnaire and will indicate: Not Started, In Progress, For Review, or Completed.
Please note that, by default, the progress status displayed on the ASQ Dashboard are derived from the Teacher Questionnaire. However, if there are no responses from the teacher or the family is selected as the only respondent (via the Questionnaire Settings), the progress displayed on the ASQ Dashboard will be derived from the Family Questionnaire.
