Accessing ASQ
ASQ is an additional feature of the Kaymbu platform. If you are interested in utilizing the ASQ feature for your program, you can reach out to our team at help@kaymbu.com for more information.
When accessing ASQ for the first time, users will be presented with guided prompts that provide a brief introduction to the feature on Kaymbu.
Assign Screener Groups
To begin, users can create screening groups, assign children, and customize questionnaire settings as needed.
- High-level users, such as directors or administrators, will have access to and can monitor all screening groups across all classrooms within their organizations and/or centers
- Teachers can create and monitor screening groups for their particular homeroom
Complete Questionnaire
Once screening groups have been created and questionnaire settings are in place, teachers and/or families will be able to complete the questionnaire. Depending on the screening group's questionnaire settings, respondents can be set to teachers, families, or both.
Families will be able to complete the Family Questionnaire via the Kaymbu for Families app or via the web (email), depending on their Communication Settings. Teachers can complete the Teacher Questionnaire directly from the child's ASQ student profile, which is accessible through the Kaymbu app and website (my.kaymbu.com).
ASQ Dashboard
The ASQ Dashboard is your central hub for creating, managing, and monitoring screening groups. From the dashboard, teachers can edit settings, answer questionnaires, send questionnaires to families, track scores, and monitor completion progress.
Teacher Reviews
As the questionnaire is in progress, teachers will be able to monitor its status and view responses directly from a child's individual profile. ASQ student profiles can be accessed directly from the ASQ Dashboard.
Generated Scores and Family Report
Once the Teacher Questionnaire and/or Family Questionnaire have been submitted, scores for each developmental domain can be viewed and compared.
When marked as complete, the ASQ Family Report is automatically generated and can be shared with families.
The Family Report provides an overview of the child's scores for each of the five developmental domains and includes suggested activities to help families promote continued growth and learning.
