What is the Lesson Manager

Kaymbu’s Lesson Manager gives high-level users a centralized way to create and assign curriculum across their entire program. Account Managers, Administrators, or Directors can manage lesson plans and customize weekly templates to ensure the appropriate lessons are available to the right classrooms.

How the Lesson Manager Works in Kaymbu

The Lesson Manager provides a streamlined way to organize and distribute curriculum across your classrooms. High-level users such as Account Managers, Administrators, or Directors begin by creating Access Groups, which determine which classrooms can receive specific curriculum. You can then create lessons and weekly templates and connect them to the appropriate Access Groups. Once assigned, teachers can access available lessons and templates and easily add pre-made content to their Lesson Planner from week to week.

Main Features of the Lesson Manager

Kaymbu’s Lesson Manager consists of three main features: Access Group Settings, Lesson Library, and Weekly Templates.

Access Group Settings

Access Groups are custom groups that high-level users can assign to organizations, centers, or classrooms to gate access to curriculum. This helps to ensure staff have access to the relevant lessons while keeping lesson content organized and easy to manage. 

Please note that only the highest-level user on the account can access Access Groups Settings and create Access Groups. Once an Access Group is assigned at the center level, Directors can assign the group to the appropriate classroom(s) through their own Access Groups Settings.

Lesson Library

The Lesson Library lets users create and share lesson plans and lesson folders with Access Groups. When an Access Group is assigned to the lesson, the associated entities will have access to the lesson content. The Lesson Library also serves as a bank for all lessons created through the Lesson Manager.

Only the highest-level user on the account can access, create, and manage lessons through the Lesson Library.

Weekly Templates

The Weekly Templates are where pre-made lesson grid templates are created. Lesson plans can be added to templates and assigned to an Access Group, allowing teachers to automatically populate their lesson grid along with weekly lesson plans from week to week. The Weekly Templates serve as a bank for all lesson grid templates created through the Lesson Manager.

Only the highest-level user on the account can access, create, and manage Weekly Templates through the Lesson Library.
